Here is update #14 to our Room Addition 101 project 6-17-14 Drywall - For more information and photos visit my website at charperdesign/ Hanging drywall began on June 17 followed up with an inspection which was signed off on the job card. I was surprised to find out the drywall or sheet-rock is quite heavy. It took two guys to install it. Putting it up on the ceiling they would each hold an end with one hand and nail it in with the other. Seemed like a very tough job but only took one day to finish up with this step. On the 18th was the inspection and the next day, Kevin with Cal West Drywall, started the taping and mud phase. That was finished up by the 23rd. Next up is stucco. Stay tuned....
