Here is your public service announcement regarding Easter...Glow-in-the-dark Easter eggs look really cute. I know. Adorable. Guess what? They arent. They are a nightmare. I dont care how many people recommend these on Pinterest. I am telling you...Pinterest is shady!! I have tried these twice. It doesnt end well. You will have children screaming from burning eyes because the glow sticks are leaking fluid, or broken. It will be all over clothes, and hands, and you will taste it for days. It stains. The eggs do not stay closed, not even when taped shut. The liquid leaks from the sticks and the tape will slide off. If you want glow-in-the-dark eggs, find another way. Tape a glow stick to them. Buy battery operated tea lights to put inside. Anything, but glow sticks. They do not bend, and cannot be manipulated to inside eggs, even the larger sorts. They make a darling picture, as most things on Pinterest do, but in actuality, they are a train wreck!!
