Heres a travel snafu for the books. Hopped over to Uruguay today from Buenos Aires for a quick Visa renewal trip. Did not know there was a 1 hour time change and therefore missed my return ferry. Now I have to wait 4 hours for the next one and miss the dinner reservation I was really looking forward to...and the fate of whether or not I have to pay for the return ferry lies in the hands of a gentleman who said maybe I will have to pay, maybe I wont followed by a wink. I usually dont like it when men wink at me, but in this case it brings me great hope. Heres to trying to be flexible and calm in situations that really blow. OH, and I guess the upside is that I felt really comfortable explaining my situation in Spanish, so hopefully that will bode well for me and I wont have to pay.
