Hey, AIESEC Here is Green Power Now!!! from 15th March to 28th April or from 1st May to 13th June I am really willing that all of you will enjoy the splendid life in China. Here I would like to introduce our project to you. Job Description: This project will gather 12 interns from different culture backgrounds to create great impacts on AIESEC Mainland of China. It aims at awaking peoples awareness of environmental issues and develop students innovation and leadership. It is our duty to do something beneficial to our earth and society. It aims to give interns a completely incredible new impression on China. Interns are provided with unique roughly two parts of activities in other cities of China. 【Green ideas & Cross-cultural communcation】 Green Power Now is one of the best projects in Mainland China, who concerns environmental protection and youth capacity.It aims at awaking peoples awareness of environmental issues and develop students innovation and leadership. It is our duty to do something beneficial to our earth and society. Volunteers will also bring their own country’s culture to the students. 【Training】 The volunteers will be trained by AIESEC XJTLU for a few days,which will take about the knowledge of environmental protection and the volunteers how to feel better in China, also bring them to visit some sights. 【Teaching】 EP will give classes about mainly environment protection and green knowledge for secondary school students. The class will focus on some workshop , disscussion, games, practice and experiment to inspire students critical thinking and creative ideas. Students will also have some classes outside the classroom. The courses will be designed by volunteers and our buddies. Volunteers will teach 4~5 classes a week in one school thus establish friendship with students. And there will be 4 EPs to go to 3 different schools to deliver courses in different calsses thus it can be interesting. 【Outdoor Activities】 Volunteers can take students to some organic farms and parctioce base on the weekends to do some practice in order to help children understand our nature better. Let them get close to the nature and experience it. 【Self-Development】 Volunteers will lead students to do some environmentally friendly activities such as organizing sustainable fashion shows , environment protection planning competition or picking up the rubbish in the local community. 【Culture Exploring】 The buddies will take volunteters to visit some famous and special scenery spots in Suzhou and its nearby cities on the weekends to explore Chinese culture.Also enjoy different kinds of traditional Chinese food. Suzhou is “the paradise of China” with many traditional Chinese features and beautiful scenery. It is a city which combine modern and tradition. During the priject,volunteers will also learn a lot Chinese culture at the same time. 【Buddy systerm&homestay】 Each volunteers will have a buddy from XJTLU to company with every day to help them and they will establish a long-term international friendship. We will also provide free accomodation (homestay family) for them for a better experience in China which ep can learn more Chinese habits during the time. Volunteers can also learn some Chinese during the time. Our goal is to make volunteers feel at home in China. Part 1: [Education for students] The interns will be provided Environment Protection courses and design interesting events for the students. Students will also have some classes outside the classroom to get close to nature. It aims at awaking peoples awareness of environmental issues and developing students’ innovation and leadership and it can board students’ horizons. Part 2 : [Explore China] The interns will visit several special scenery spots and enjoy Chinese local food. Short local cultural tours will be organized. At least one global village activity will be arranged. MROEOVER: Free Accommodation is provided!! During the amazing journey, you will enjoy yourselves in the amazing city in China——Suzhou ( Jiangsu province）Suzhou is “the paradise of China” with many traditional Chinese features and beautiful scenery. It is a city which combine modern and tradition. You can travel around Suzhou or even Shanghai in your spare time. The life in Suzhou is not just to be a teacher but also you can travel around the cities in your spare time. There are thousands of traditional buildings with Chinese cultural and much delicious food, which I ensure you will be crazy about!!! And we will provide you the best experience with more understanding of Chinese culture!
