On October 7th, The McDonald Brothers Band entered the Bands4Good Challenge 2013, an exciting “American Idol-esque” online fundraising campaign presented by the Doing Good Network and Wells Fargo. The goal for participants is to raise awareness and funds for our military veterans, active duty personnel, and their families, who are confronted with life altering issues. In addition, the contest will give unsigned, aspiring musicians like us an unprecedented opportunity for exposure that will help our career. We got involved because I want our music to make a difference, and this is the best way I’ve encountered to do that at a maximum level in a short amount of time. The competition is fast-paced and is centered on the voice of the fans and voters as much as the participants!
