Hey Loverlies! Well, I think an update on Philby is well overdue. He did really well in surgery and, Ive been so reluctant to write this (for fear of jinxing things) but despite a few minor post surgery hiccups, Dad looks like hes cancer free (again!). We have been overwhelmed with support and love. We are forever indebted to so many talented health workers, family and friends. Mum continues to be a champion beyond words with his care. Even the doctors shake their heads at Dads strength, and Dad remains totally positive, as our whole family does. We have been asked so many times how do you keep getting through this, how do you remain so positive? The answer is, its a roller coaster and there are some really bad days but one shouldnt underestimate the utter joy of seeing a loved one so sick make a recovery. Its overwhelmingly wonderful. I hope beyond that hope that Dads future here on earth is bright, healthy and long but for now, Ill just visit today, and give him a cuddle. xo
