Hey, People, This is an urgent request, and it really is on behalf of a friend. I emphasise that because I dont want anyone to worry about me and show up at my door :-) I urgently need to find information about how a person might go about making what I think is called a living will? In essence, what kinds of documentation does someone need if they check into an inpatient facility and want to be sure that their family will not be able to make decisions on their behalf, in case of any emergency, medical or otherwise? Im going to start scouring the web and also start calling up my contacts here in Chicago and elsewhere -- I know certain documents are available online, but I want to make sure everything they do is vetted thoroughly so there are no loopholes anywhere, so Ill be looking for legal aid resources as well.
