Hey everybody! So over the past few weeks my best friend, Doreh Taghavi (currently living in rural South Africa,) & I have been developing this really wonderful project called Aum for Africa. This project sprouted from Dorehs realization that the practice of Self Affirmations holds some very serious healing power that is very applicable to her Intention over there [and really in life in general.] So I have been blessed enough to be able to lend some assistance in getting this project up and running, & now it finally is! Aum for Africa is centered around the idea that self-affirmations can actually change the structure and function of our brains, & we think that is kinddd of something we should be taking advantage of (mostly because neuroscience is so intriguing) = D So check out the site and FB page to become more informed about how this appreciation for Self-affirmations developed into a non for profit organization over there in South Africa, & how you can play a part in it if you feel that is indeed a role you would like to play!
