Hey gem/mineral/crystal people! What are your opinions on tajikistan/Vietnamese golden beryl (heliodor) ... Word is that the Tajik heliodor is just pale aqua from the shigar region of pakistan /pale aqua or goshenite from China that has been irradiated and the Vietnamese heliodor is pale Vietnamese irradiated aqua. Several discussions online make sense of all this (mainly on Mindat.org) and it makes sense when closely inspecting some Vietnamese heliodor Ive had and some Tajik material it truly does look exactly like some of the aqua Ive had from paki/Nam ... Would love to hear more input or links to possible other discussions other than the stuff I may have already read
