Hey guys! Thank you for all the donations received so far! Sunny has a long road ahead of her and she would love it for her daddy to be able to take off work and stay with her. Greg and I have decided that Sunny will have surgery to remove as much of the tumor as possible safely. This surgery will cause the right side of her body to be effected again. The doctor said she is most likely to have paralysis on the right again, speech problems and more cognitive delays. She will be in a moderate amount of pain. Once Sunny incisions heal which takes about three weeks she will be transferred to the University of Florida Proton Clinic in Jacksonville Florida for six weeks of radiation. The risk of radiation include hearing loss in her left ear, thyroid, hormonal and growth problems, brain swelling, stroke (due to the blood vessels that runs right through the center of her tumor) just to name a few. Greg and I are very scared for our daughter but we feel this is the best way to approach this situation. With your donations it will allow us to have enough gas to get to both Memphis and Jacksonville, help pay the bills here at home since my husband is the only one working and provide whatever we need while we are in both locations that the facilities do not provide.
