Hey there, some more Oktfest info for your brains. 1. We are planning on renting 4 person cars based on how many of you want to come, which after rental fees and gas will be $25.00. The sooner I get you as a confirmed attendee the sooner I can secure the cars, this Friday is the last day you can confirm. 2. Getting into the event will cost you $25.00. This covers park fees and two feasts, a butt ton of food after fighting all day. Nom. 3. We are squaring away some funding things with the school so for this event we cannot provide camping gear. You will need to get a tent, a tarp, and sleeping bag (or bring a butt load of blankets if you cant afford the sleeping bag). Im attaching a sample cart of camping stuff so you can see what the bare minimum looks like. Remember pillows too. If you want to go super cheap find someone to split the bill with so it comes to like $16.00 a person for tent and tarp. Also keep in mind this is a one time investment. 4. You will need to have minimum garb to fight on the field and wander about the site. We can help you make it just give us notice. You can also just get a pair of sweats and cut off the elastic bottoms and cut the collar off a shirt, which run to a thrift store and that could be an under $10 purchase. 5. You will be fed friday and saturday night so bring some snacks to the event. I like trail mix, bread, and peanut butter. So a guestimation for how much is the minimum you can spend on this trip is around $80.00. Ill be looking for ways to make it cheaper and updating info but for a 3 day trip that is pretty cheap.
