Hi all! Speaking of fall retreat, the speaker sent us a staff a message to pass along to all of you as well as any who couldnt make it. Friends, Its been a couple of weeks since we gathered at Camp Piankatank, and I wanted to thank you for coming and for being attentive listeners, thoughtful question-askers, and all around awesome men and women. It was a privilege to spend the weekend with you. In the Following Jesus talk I challenged us to become better students of God, better theologians. The God of the Bible is stunningly big and beautiful and complex and, above all, worthy. Getting to know him is an exhilarating and essential pursuit for any growing Christian. With that in mind, heres a recommended reading list to help you out. Since I know youre busy, I made sure to only select books that will be worth your time.
