Hi everyone. I guess you thought you had heard the last of me for a couple of hours lol but things have changed. I used to define a fair-weather Christian as mainly a person who didnt come to church in bad weather. I know. Crazy right? The ones who came to church in the snow, high winds and rain were the faithful few. If you gave me a microphone and an audience, I could preach that thang too!! BUT God...He is opening my eyes more and more, day by day.. For those of you who had a chance to read my post this morning, I shared that I was about to prepare for worship, meaning I was going to church. After signing off, I made my bed, gave Tre breakfast, dressed him and myself and started breakfast for everyone. As I was finishing up with dressing myself, William told me to look out the door. It was raining buckets!!! My first thought: Satan wants to talk me into staying home today. Then I came unto myself. Your 85 year old mother has a cold but she got up this morning, showered, dressed for church and had breakfast. My 83 old husband showered, dressed for church and had his breakfast ready to go. My 2 year old great-grandson has the sniffles. Then it hit me. A fair-weather Christian has nothing to do with the weather. This person only praises and worships God when things are going well. The faithful few defines the person who in spite of what he or she is going through gives God all praise and glory in spite of the circumstances. So with that being said...we are taking off our church clothes, putting on our house clothes along with our garments of praise and we are going to worship and praise God right where we stand. Saints of God, I hear the chains falling!!!!
