Hi everyone, an abandoned cat in our neighborhood had a kitten (or kittens)? We have only been able to find the one. She moved him under a tarp in the sun, he had been crying for several hours and was nearing hypothermia. The mom has given up and will not tend to the kitten anymore. We have raccoons in our yard nightly and may have already found the other kittens. We lured the mom into our garage last night shutting the door behind her. Watching on a baby monitor we setup she did not feed or get near the baby the entire night. In the morning we opened the door and she just left. The kitten will die on its own, no the mother will not be enticed into taking care of it and we have long commutes to work. Were not home to take care of feeding a newborn kitten every few hours. Ive left some messages at rescue societies which almost never have room. If any of you are willing to take on raising him (as an indoor cat!) and keeping him as your own PLEASE notify me. We have been bottle feeding him since yesterday but we really need someone to take this kitten, he cant come to work with us. Thank You!! Oh and hes supper cute! Im sure hed love you forever.
