Hi friends. For all those of you who know and love Cletus , he got caught in the mowing machine this week when Rick was mowing hay. This is the result. The hay is so thick this year that Rick never saw him. He always watches for the dogs and stops when they get near and waits till they move on but this time he never saw him. Even when he heard him yip and looked for him, he couldnt see him. I guess we will do, in the future, what we should have done all along and chain the dogs when we are mowing hay. The trick is catching all three at once. When the other two see me chaining one up, they disappear. Anyway, he is having a lot of trouble, of course, adjusting but the vet says he is young enough to adjust and dogs his age usually adapt amazingly well. He is eating and drinking and wagging his tail. I, on the other hand, am a somewhat drippy, weeping mess.
