Hi ladies - I want to share with you something special that happened last night. This weekend I am dogsitting for friends who live in Point Richmond, which is directly across the bay from SF. Yesterday evening I went for a run, and I decided to go a new route up the hill by where they live. The hard work was rewarded by a spectacular view, I could see both bridges and the city spread out in front of me as the sun was setting. As I reached the top of the climb, I noticed a few women scattered about and at first I thought they were taking in the gorgeous view. Then I noticed one woman lifting her hands and I realized that she was singing and praying to our God! I recognized that these women were all there for worship and prayer. It was a sacred moment up there and I knew in my heart that God has led me up there for a purpose. After a while they began to get ready to leave and I approached one of them and told her that I was so blessed and encouraged by their worship and that God had led me up that mountain tonight. She smiled, look a little confused and then in broken English said God bless you. One of the ladies in her group came back to me and said that they were Portuguese, and they wanted to invite me to come pray with them before they left. So I joined these five Portuguese women in prayer (mostly in Portuguese!) last night in a divine appointment! They invited me to their church and said they want to come visit me at Project Church! ❤💙 What an encouragement to find these women with hearts for Jesus and unshakeable, passionate faith. Even though we couldnt communicate fully (only one spoke English fluently) we were united by His Love and encouraged by one another! God is at work all over and it was such a blessing to witness these women on fire for Him. May we be women who faithfully climb the hill and pray over our city, seek His face and pray for one another! Love you all!! ❤💙
