Hi there Sarah Hope are managing to find the time to enjoy the wonderful sunshine we have been having. Mitch and Barney have been having great fun playing together in the garden. I cant believe Barney has now been with us just over two weeks - he has settled in really well and everybody loves him. I have had a few people come up to me at work (including the Chief Exec) to say what a lovely boy he is. I just feel so proud and happy he is ours. We took Barney to meet the vet last week and he commented what a fine dog he was. He asked whether we had transferred the microchip details into our name and I said this was in hand. If you could drop me an email when this has been done that would be great. I had a disturbing moment yesterday with Barney - as I reached up to close the glass section of my boot he had a look of fear in his eyes and cowered down. I think he thought I was going to hit him! I have never seen that sort of look first-hand myself before and hope I never do again. Also, he had a couple of little accidents in the home and had a worried look in his eyes then. I think he must have been treated unkindly in his previous home, poor little man. We reassured him on all three occasions so hopefully he wont worry about being mistreated again.
