Hi zane i just want to say i love your books and you even inspired me to write my own novels i just hope i find the courage to publish them...ok keep me anonymous but im 23 with a 3 yo daughter and her father is in prison he has 2 yrs left before he got locked up he got married nd joined the army his only child is mine he ask me to marry him once i got pregnant but at 19 i thght i was to young for marriage nd being a parent i asked him to wait for me nd lets just raise our child but he said he wouldnt wait nd ran off with her nd me a single parent well now he sends me letters sayin he wants to marry me nd askin me to wait for him jus to let it be known i have not been with another man since him i devoted my time to my daughter my question is should i wait for him a man i still love or pay him back for breakin my heart? Do you think it would matter if i dnt wait being that he is still married to her? Btw she claims shes fully gay now nd no longer wants a man? I want to,move on but i dnt even know how to get a man me nd him grew up together we were bestfriends who fell in love? I need advice MY RESPONSE: Please do not consider getting back with him. He is saying all of that because he knows how you feel about him, his wife wants nothing to do with him, and you are the mother of his child. You have to move on and as for getting a man, it begins with not acting desperate for one. Enjoy life, do activities with and without your daughter, and walk with confidence, even if you do not have it yet. You are young and you can have a healthy, loving relationship if you demand that and accept nothing less. Good luck.
