His Eminence Dr Kuriakose mor Theophilose and 45 Bishops from 28 countries of different denomination had a meeting with His Holiness Pope Francis. God gave our beloved Eminence the unique chance to address Pope and to explain the difficult and tragic situation of the Syrian Orthodox and other Christians in the Middle East. His Eminence requested His Holiness to intervene in the Middle East crisis and to demand the Turkish Government to cooperate for the release of the kidnapped Bishops Mor Gregarious Ibrahim and Bolous Yasigi. His Holiness Pope Francis expressed his willingness to do that and promised his prayer and solidarity.
