Hot Water Cornbread is proud to announce the Mouth Off 8-Year Anniversary & Finale! Since our launch in 2005, we have fed Oakland with an array of dishes including Mouth Off Wednesdays, The Soul Cypher, The Hot Water Slam, Hot Water Radio, The Spoken Word Soul Fest, RockSteady, The Soul Clap, Singers Lounge and a countless number of featured events, workshops, artist management resources and collaborations! We have been essential in the artistic movement in Oakland, generating a ton of spin-offs, launching several artistic endeavors, nurturing careers and creating a safe space for people to listen and grow. Despite all that weve done thus far, we are thrilled to announce that we have been in the kitchen mastering a new entree that were finally excited to share with the masses. We hope that you are able to come out to Mouth Off Wednesday over the next couple of weeks and celebrate the journey weve all been a part of in some way, shape or form. In addition, we hope that you wish us well as we prepare to present the first course of our latest feast! Hot Water Cornbread has never been an event, weve always been a movement!
