How do I find a list of known newspapers for a specific area? One of my grgrgrandfathers owned an ice company in Antioch, IL (the other may have also or he just worked in the business). Im trying to find out which one had two of his prize horses fall through the ice on Channel Lake (maybe early 1920s?). My uncle said that it was gggf Leslie Crandall, but my grandfathers cousins said it was my gggr Linford Barthel because it was part of his reason for committing suicide in 1925 (the other was a cheating wife). I tried the library in Antioch and looked through microfiche but their records are pretty sparse prior to and thru 1925, so I wanted to check other possible papers in the area. Any help would be appreciated!
