How do I tell my parents that I don’t want to go back to school? I am 14 and I have just been promoted to Junior Secondary School Three (JSS3). My education is late because my parents have to move from one station to the other on transfer because of my father’s job and whenever he was transferred we all had to move with him. After his last transfer, my mother insisted that we would not be moving with him again, though; he is yet to be transferred now. I was in JSS3 when we came to town, but I was made to repeat the class again. My junior sister and I were placed in the boarding house. All was well with me until when other school prefects were nominated when the former ones passed out. The new head boy is a bully; he will beat us up for no reason, I was afraid to say anything when he started touching my buttocks and my breast despite the fact that I am a boy like him. He is fond of telling me that I will be a good wife to him and his friends when we resume school. I checked the calendar each time with trepidation, I was however relieved when our resumption day was postponed, but we would still have to resume, anyway. I told my sister my fears and she advised that we called you. Please, how will I tell my parents why I don’t want to go back to that school, because I have once tried telling my mother, but she called me names and said I should tell that to my father and the winds. Please, help me.
