How does a family of three make in in Hawaii if not for: 1. Joining the Military 2. Becoming a police officer and making $50K a year 3. Both parents working and at least each be making $17 an hour each(After taxes) 4. Living with other people and paying cheap rent or living rent-free if with in-laws 5. One person working 80 hours a week and having no life and making at least $17 an hour after taxes 6. Finishing College with a Useful Bachelors and sink yourself in debt and having to pay that off first, then be able to get a job that makes 50K a year (If lucky). 7. Join the Union as an apprentice and survive without being injured or breaking your back, then becoming a full journeyman. 8. Get lucky in life an land you a job that makes you $50K a year.
