How is this fair for low paid workers when high income earners can get up to a 30% tax benefit? The workers most disadvantaged from scrapping the LISC will be predominantly women, part time workers and workers in rural areas. We are talking about people who only earn $37,000 or less. This is another example of the sheer bastardry and discrimination of this budget. More money would be saved by scrapping excessive tax perks for the wealthy but this government wont go there.
