How long did you look around to find a job before you got one? How long did it take you to graduate? How much effort did you put towards studying? How many days did you spend training for a team that you did or did not make? How many parties did you attend or plan? Etc….If you put all that together how much time and effort has been spent? My point: We want to see God move in our lives, we want to see His power, or get so close to Him like the people from the Holy Bible and we say we really want it. But, how much time do you devote towards God. Nothing in life comes easy and everything takes time, but why when it comes to God if God does not answer at the moment you want Him to then He must not be real, or He doesnt care about you? GOD….IS….NOT….A….DRIVE THRU. He is not something you just go to when you want, offer some type of bargain, receive what you ordered, and then go about your day. He is the CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE, THE KING OF KINGS, THE HOLY OF HOLIES, THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA, THE BEGINNING AND THE END. We have more respect for celebrities, and people in authority than the One who created them. Calculate the hours it took to make the money you use for seeing a concert of someone that you dont know personally and who does not know you by name. Now calculate the hours you put into seeking God, trying to find answers in the Scripture, or talking to people that may know God. LETS BE HONEST WITH OURSELVES PEOPLE BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT FOOLING ANYONE BUT YOURSELVES. SEEK HIM.
