How many of you all know that there is a diamond in the middle of the front cross of British Crown Jewels which was stolen from India? Its known as the Koh-i-Noor which was once the largest known diamond owned by Maharaja Ranjit Singh, Founder and Maharaja of the Sikh empire. He was also known as the Lion of Punjab and the king behind the decorative gilding and marblework of the Golden Temple sanctuary, not just that but he also covered the upper level of the temple with gold. The king had a very strong army too whereby the commander-in-chief at that point of time is Hari Singh Nalwa, he is also known as the Lion Killer whereby he killed the lion by himself with a shield and dagger.
