How often do you get a chance to a part of history? Do you - TopicsExpress

How often do you get a chance to a part of history? Do you remember the School House Rock Video --Im Just a Bill. Bills goal was to become a law -- which only happened when he was signed into law. Well, this Wednesday, we all have the chance to be a part of history and witness a bill become a law -- and I will confess, as much history and political science as I have studied or participated, I have never witnessed a bill being signed into law. Harry Doss and I are excited about Georgia House Bill 60 -- The bill makes several changes to state law. It allows those with a license to carry to bring a gun into a bar without restriction and into some government buildings that don’t have certain security measures. It also allows religious leaders to decide whether it’s OK for a person with a carry license to bring a gun into their place of worship. Our State Representative David Ralston will host Governor Nathan Deal and any of us that want to witness this historic event when Governor Nathan Deal signs HB 60 into law! The 2nd Amendment is important to many of us for many and varied reasons. The ETC Pavilion on the Coosawattee River 255 Legion Road Ellijay, GA 30540 at 12 noon this Wednesday, April 23. Lunch will be provided. This is an open invitation to come and be a part of history -- to see the completion of the legislative process. Watch, participate, be a part of history --with our Governor, our State Representative, David Ralston and our fellow 2nd Amendment Supporters.
