I WILL NEVER BUY A MAYTAG APPLIANCE AGAIN! We purchased a washer and dryer Bravos XL series in October 2011 and in the past year nothing but trouble w the washer. Nope didnt buy extended warranty because I figured Maytag is a good higher line of appliance. Had trouble with the main valve which would have been $250 to fix and now the basket bearing is going bad which is a $395 fix. Then add the two $59.99 service calls. Had repair man call Whirlpool to plead my case and they wouldnt cover the bearing. The 10 year limited warranty covers motor and basket. At one time the bearing was a part of the basket now they designed a kit so its separate. Have never been so pissed off at a manufacturer before. I am boycotting whirlpool and MAYTAG products. Which is horrible because they are made in the USA.
