I absolutely hate that in Hollywood, being a conservative or Republican is akin to being on a blacklist. Since so much of pop culture is driven by Hollywood, the caricature of Republicans emanates from there. I have several friends in Hollywood who I know are Republicans and they have to keep their political identities secret. Liberals out there... If you want Republicans to believe you care about them, then you need to tell Hollywood to quit acting like 50% of the American population doesnt matter to them. And tell them to quit doing things like this to the people who do come out. Melissa Joan Hart was attacked because in todays culture it is ok to bash someone personally and threaten them. Republicans -- you need to tame your far right elements who insist on promoting ideas that get labeled as evil and cartoonish and racist by the left.
