Why was she covered ? Because the people, if we don’t “see” the problem, we think that the problem doesn’t exist any more!. We have been taught that, if we close our eyes, everything will be ok! But for Greta nothing was ok, she was in pain and suffered . Please, let’s give her the chance to live the life she deserves. As all the strong, proud and crippled animals deserve to live! THERE IS NO PROPER FOSTER HOME ANYMORE AND THE CONDITIONS SHE LIVES IN ARE INAPPROPRIATE. ITS URGENT TO BE ADOPTED. Here is her story: Greta was found in a park in Alexandria (a town of Northern Greece), badly injured, she couldnt move at all. It was a very difficultt time for us with so many dogs in need, surgeries etc. We had two adoptions and the same time three more dogs in need were coming inour hands. We knew that we couldnt take any more... When we heard that there was a dog lying helpless for days in a park and that the people had covered her with a sheet because they couldnt see it, we knew that although it would be very dofficult for us to help her if she was paralysed, we couldnt also leave her there covered by the sheet in such a hot weather! It was summertime... The doctors unfortunately told us what we were afraid to hear and history repeats itself... No possibility of surgery and walking again... Our first thought was to buy her a wheelchair, thats quite easy, we hope that with your help, you always support us everytime we need it, we will be able to buy it. What Greta really needs is a loving home, a family to adopt her and give her the happy life and care that she needs and deserves.. We are only 2-3 people taking care of so many dogs, most of them injured. Greta needs special care, someone who will have the time to look after her properly, take her out for walks and spend a lot of time with her giving her the love that so much needs... She is such a good and grateful dog, she looks us in the eyes everytime we take care of her!
