I am asking for your vote (Feb. 3, 2015) to serve on the Las Vegas City School Board. As Board members there is a common goal, to make this the best district for our students to succeed in life. With collaboration among the Board, the Board can achieve anything. I feel confident that if Elected, I will assist the Board with the strengths that I would bring: •Ability to work well with a team and support group decisions, •Desire to work toward a stronger relationship between the district and the public, •Keen eye toward serving the needs of all students, regardless of their abilities and/or backgrounds, •Respect diverse points of view, •Offer constructive feedback, •Knowledge about district policies, guidelines, needs, challenges and strengths, •My understanding of the role of a board member, •Open to new ideas and changes and •Professional, poised demeanor and respectful, respectable behavior.
