I am being handed a hard reminder today on how fragile life is, and the importance of family, even estranged family. I am taking the first step in mending a fence/extending the olive branch. I miss my dad (both of them) terribly, and I may have but one chance to repair a strained relationship with him. I have been selfish in the past, thinking of myself and me and mine. So, my early resolution for 2015 is to spend more of that precious time with family, my kids, my grandkids, my parents and my nieces and nephews, whom I must get to know all over again. Take the time ppl....cause I found out today IT MATTERS.
