I am going to offer my opinion and it may not be popular but it what I think. I have been asked many times why we can’t seem to win the wars we are in. First we are not in wars anymore but conflicts. If you are going to win against an enemy you have to be more committed, more vicious, more violent and willing to do the things even they are not willing to do to totally destroy them. The last war we won was WWII and we won by not leaving a thing standing. We destroyed Japan, we destroyed Germany. Be bombed Berlin into total rubble, had Hitler hiding and dying in a hole like the vermin he was. We were not concerned about world opinion, what the voters thought, what was politically correct. We wanted an end to the war and total surrender and were willing to accept the collateral damage that went with it. Today we are governed by elitist politicians that truly believe they are the ruling class and in no way can they agree on anything. They have no business committing our troops to anything unless they are willing to win and that means total annihilation of the enemy, total destruction and total surrender.
