I am going to throw this out there, and will likely regret it, because people are dumb and I like a lot of people, but...... are the Koch brothers really the Darth Vader and Adolf Hitler that people make them out to be? It seems as though the support of the Koch brothers elicits such a knee jerk vitriolic reaction from people, it tempts me to wonder what virtues and redeeming qualities they have. I am not willing to assume that they are devoid of either. I will do some reading, and I am certain that I do not agree with them on much, but I am also pretty confident that I will not find the evidence of mass puppy graves and spilling of tar sands that most people imply and assume when they use their last name in such succinct and authoritative denouncement. I dunno, but after hearing hundreds of people go completely apeshit off the deep end in their disdain for these dudes, I have to believe that this awful duo has been trumped up to be Keyser Söze and Hannibal Lecter, while they are actually the Alex P Keaton and Carlton Banks of the political world. Again, I am happy to be wrong, but the lunacy of the attacks have convinced me that the critics of the Kochs are beyond rationale and reason, and merely pushing a button when the bell rings. Koch,,,, ding Koch,,,,, ding Coke,,,,, ding, Bzzzzzzzz!
