I am not a Christmas Person......I used to be but it aint what it used to be....and maybe I will go into that in the future....BUT! Sometime ago I found a bunch of DVDs in the Goodwill box in the laundry room....in that bunch I found a 4 disc set called: Holiday TV Classics. With all 4 Clampetts featured on the cover. Ellie Mae. Oh, my god....Ellie Mae.....but, anyway.... This collection of 49 Holiday TV Classics promises Yuletide Cheer from Greats the likes of Jack Benny, Red Skelton, Ray Bolger,....George Burns and Gracie Allen.....warm fuzzy feelings from shows the likes of DRAGNET and CAPTAIN GALLANT of the FOREIGN LEGION! AND MANY MANY MORE!!!!! So. In an attempt to regain some of my Un-Grinchy feelings about The Holidays I will watch at least ONE of these Jingle Bell Gems every day until Christmas Day and if possible I will share the love with you. First up, however, we visit the Hillbillies for a taste of the very next holiday....the red-headed step child of The Holiday Season.....THANKSGIVING. I still love THANKSGIVING. HAppy Holidays, yall.
