I am on the hunt again for a good job! I put in at the Hobby Lobby - TopicsExpress

I am on the hunt again for a good job! I put in at the Hobby Lobby today. Because Eric and I share a vehicle, my hours are limited and I really love my church family at First Advent Christian Church on Sundays. They have prayed for us every since I started walking across the street to join in their congregation and services in 2010. They have prayed for our healing as well as our jobs; I love them all so very much and I am so grateful for them. Another thing I am grateful for is the investment I made with my retirement fund from Halliburton. Here is my greatest venture yet. I was able to keep the kids surrounded by puppies by breeding AKC Working and Family Labradors by Misti Gilley (Smith). I started breeding after I adopted a puppy that was part Great Pyrenees part Labrador. She was snow white and so beautiful. I went to the animal shelter for three weeks and she was the only one I wanted for the children. She was calm and had the beautiful, sad, brown eyes of both the Labrador & Great Pyrenees. They kept telling me someone may come and get her, but I kept going until they finally let me adopt her. I just knew she would be calm enough not to knock the children down or hurt them and would be protective of the family. We named her Bunny. After she had been with us for a week, she started vomiting and had diarrhea. I tried to care of her but after three days, I knew she was in trouble. I took her to an animal hospital where we found out she had Parvo. Two days and $800 later, she was dead. The shelter in Duncan, OK, paid the $800 and I donated the only thing I knew would help them rid the shelter of the nasty disease. Bleach, twenty gallons of it. Still yet, my children & I were devastated. I vowed that I would offer the people of our community healthy puppies. When looking for our new pups, I was very careful in my selection because I did not want to give anyone a sick puppy. I ask about championship pedigrees and I purchased Huny and Shadow, both at 12 weeks old. Huny came with 12 pages of championship pedigree! Shadow came with just 2; in just two pages, he had several champion working dogs in his ancestry and I was able to obtain over 150 years of online pedigree! As they grew and as I studied, I began to notice a pattern. Both pups had Hall of Fame working dogs in their pedigrees! No one else breeding at that time mentioned Hall of Fame dogs. I immediately started researching diligently day and night, building web pages full of their heritage. I wish I still had the sites, but unfortunately, I could not afford to fund them any longer once I got moved to NC.. Anyway, with the help of all of the children, we bred 54 beautiful Labrador Retriever puppies with Huny and Shadow. In less than two years on the internet market, we went International! I did EVERYTHING by the book and wanted everyone interested and concerned to know that our puppies were not part of the many puppy mills, so I took tens of thousands of pictures and hundreds of videos for our future puppy owners. I also did this to help those who wanted to breed, those who already had a puppy and those who just enjoy watching puppies. It wasnt about the money to me. Each puppy came with his/her own portfolio, puppy picture album, DVD, AKC papers, shot records, microchips for those who ask, leashes, collars, toys, kennels, chew treats, Purina puppy chow, all of the pedigree I had, some stories of why grandsires & granddames where adopted into the Hall of Fame Dogs, and the sites gave all of the same links I had found and researched about them and their care. It was all about the quality assurance of each puppys health, environment, and well being. It was also put into educating new owners about their new bundle of joy! I did not want anyone to suffer losing a puppy if I could help it. Everything that was paid towards the puppies, went back into the care and well being of Huny, Shadow, and their pups. It is recommended that a dame not have more that 5 liters to maintain a healthy quality of life. I stopped her at 5 liters. During the divorce, I moved back home with my wonderful mother, Angela Qualls Morris and a great family with three beautiful children wanted Huny and Shadow. I am so thankful they did not have to be separated. The last picture I received of them, they were both swimming in a big pond and looked to be smiling! God is so great! Now I have 53 Labradors in the United States and one in Canada! I absolutely loved it and it turned out to be one of my greatest achievements I have ever set out to accomplish! God knew my hearts desires and knew I had nothing but good intensions. Every once in a while, I get a text or email from an owner and they have nothing but good things to say, including the news of grand and great grand puppies! Some are working dogs, some are champions, and some are family pets. I am grateful for the legacy that our Huny and Shadow together created in our back yard. Now the house is no longer there. The new owners managed to burn it down within the week of purchasing it. I just hope they are well now. I just wanted to reshare the fun I had in creating these videos and sharing what I could with the world. Also a big thanks to my mom, Angela Qualls Morris , my dad, Steve Gilley and my children, Eric Auton, Whittney Gilley, Christopher Smith, and Michael Smith who done a lot because I was actually very sick in the midst of all of this; Regardless, I pushed until I had absolutely nothing else to offer. They helped with keeping the kennels clean, bathing, feeding the puppies, and taking pictures. I also created the backgrounds for the pictures. Though ill, I pushed to do all I could to follow through with all of the promises I made to everyone. I am healing now in North Carolina with my husband of two years, Eric Bush. He is at my side during sickness and health, even before promised. You can see each and every puppy as we raised them by going to youtube/user/mistismith Thank you to all of our owners; I could not have done it without you all! May God continue to bless each and every one. In Jesus name. Amen.
