Great truths pervade time, and were/ always will be valid, BC and AD. Scripture is rarely actual or literal history yet. if valid, will contain the full truth of the indwelling, transformative, eternally resurrecting inner and outer, eternal Christ (not any historical personage). The Christs eternal actuality represents the greatest miracle and mystery in Nature and (Re)Creation. It is the Universe, the complete and absolute Unity, and is universal perpetual ongoing revelation. G_d, in short. The rest of that quote is attributed, but rabbi Jesus unlikely said it. It is probably later authorial or scribal augmentation, by the gospeller or a copyist. Early Jewish Christians, like Jesus followers and brother, James, likelier saw him as man, not G_d. Heresy = struggling with lifes lessons in tandem with the holy scriptures (the more, the better), and eliciting by careful intelligence and CHOICE with educated guidance from all sources available what emerges as the closest approximation we can attain, to the truth. It follows that the true Seer is - by dint of that definition - always a heretic.
