I apologize ahead of time for my slanted opinion. We have killed and maimed enough of our people in the fruitless endeavor of trying to maintain justice and order amongst a completely unreasonable society. We have the same problem here, but not to this extent. Leave Syria alone, let them do what they do best. Assad is a monster, but how long could you put up with your neighbors killing your family members and running around like their hair was on fire when no one has done a thing to them? I think the tell all was when Israel offered the Palestinians everything they wanted, and they turned them down. The British ruled there with brutality and meanness, and it seemed to be in the benefit of these animals. They were described as "emotional children", and I believe this is still so. Even the P.H.D.s behave like spoiled children and are never satisfied. They lie uncontrollably. We cannot fix stupid, and the sooner we realize that, the better.
