♡ I appreciate how many of u have texted or Facebooked us with congratulations and wanting to come visit. Today was my first true day home and we finally have things in order... at least for the next few minutes:) this is the story of how baby Olivia entered the world: Dec. 7 Water broke 4:40 am 12:00 ish I recieved an epidural. I felt a big shoke all on the right side of my body, and then I lost feeling all over my body. They called it a high epidural and I was not able to move anything from my toes to my head. They took me off pitocin and lowered the pain medicine. 4:00m they informed me I would be receiving a c-section 4:51 pm they showed me my beautiful girls face over the curtain. I then had to spend an hour in the recovery room while my baby girl got to meet all of the family who came to see her. I had the shakes the entire time I was coming off the epidural But the epidural still had more surprises! I had a migraine for a day and half because I was leaking spinal fluid where the epidural needle entered my spinal column. because the whole did not fill on its own. I had to receive a blog patch where they tookm blood from my arm and injected it into the same spot and waited for it to clot. Phew! So basically it was an unexpected dollar coaster that just topped off all the other surprises of my pregnancy. But today confirmed it was all worth it. I was able to spend a whole day with my beautiful healthy baby girl (almost) pain free♡
