I believe that police & law enforcement officials should be held more accountable for their actions. Its not fair that they are allowed to have so much authority over normal civilians, yet face minimal punishment for major violations. In order to limit abuse, the consequences for any violation of a persons civil rights should be extremely stiff for an officer of the law. With lots of power comes lots of responsibility, does it not?
