I believe this picture was taken at the Davenports Col Ballroom during early 1961 when The Tracers won the KSTT Combo Countdown, a QCA contest of mostly high school rock bands. The guys from left to right are: Larry Darnell, me (I usually played tenor sax) , Tom Goodwin and Julian Belman (usually played piano). Also, besides a monetary award, pictured is the trophy we won!! The instrumental that is playing is Firewater, a cover we recorded in Davenports FredLo recording studio.
