I cant speak for all my friends, but Christmas is an emotional mix. There is the joy and anticipation of the family coming home and being together. Then the few hours we are together are filled with excitement and joy. But then the time comes when you stand in the driveway and watch your loved-ones begin their trip home. A big lump rises in your throat, the tears come, and you wish you could hold on to the moment.But never let it end there. As those loved-ones drive off, wave at them, throw them kisses, thank God for them, and pray that the Lord will be gracious and give other days you can share together. Oh! My friends! Life is so short. Make them count for Jesus and pray that the circle wont be unbroken in heaven. Lord, bless every heavy heart that reads this and pour in your grace. I need a big portion and I know others feel the same way. Thank you for your grace that always helps us rise above the sadness of this world. Praise your Name, Lord Jesus, and I ask these favors in your name.
