I custom ordered 6 ounces of fiber from Grace Gerber at Larkspur Funny Farm and it arrived in the mail a couple days ago. IT IS STUNNING!! It is a blend of Merino lambs wool, bamboo, silk, and angelina. I cannot wait to spin this. I think that I will be spinning this as a single, then possibly plying it with either a white, gray( I have a couple shades), or black ply of alpaca that I have already. What are your thoughts? I will be knitting myself a shawl with the yarn! Also, this will be my first knit shawl...do you have any patterns you recommend?
