I did not grow up with the love and appreciation for nature. Most - TopicsExpress

I did not grow up with the love and appreciation for nature. Most of my memories are of continuous studying, visiting land marks and watching TV. Largely due to this, I have a fear of animals inside myself that I dont really like to confess but I know it exists. As I read about parenting and the science behind children brain stimulation, I understood how important it is for children to be acquainted with nature. It is so beautiful to see a child bond and care for an animal; tenderness, curiosity and love in the childs eyes. Building a relationship with animals allows our children to learn about responsibility and allows them to understand in a little how hard their parents work to take care of them. The other benefit of children loving nature, in todays generations of iPAd, computers, TV, etc, allowing them to play outside. Free play is very important for children as discussed in many scientific research. It allows our children to be critical thinkers, problem solvers, be appreciative, less chances of obesity and more.
