I disagree with some people who seem to think that Haitis condition is too fragile to bring criminals like Aristide Duvalier and other tyrants to trial. The important issue is putting and end to official corruption by individuals at the top of Haitian governments past present and future. The only way to do something about it is by dealing with it right now not tomorrow, It makes no sense having a justice department or judges or even a constitution or laws if certain people can commit crimes and remain unpunished. People are not stupid.. they know that if they make it to a certain level then they are above the law. No person should be allowed to be above the law. Whatever it takes to prosecute and punish high level individuals who commit crime should take precedence over any other concern. It cannot wait and it should happen now. Other than that you might as well do away with all the laws. Justice for one is justice for all.
