I dont normally publicly post things like this, and most of you have private texts, calls or messages, but since we are blessed with so many friends and extended family members that we dont have contact information for, we wanted to let you know of our dearest mother/grandmother Delyghtes passing Thursday night. As most of you know, Dee suffered from the debilitating disease of Alzheimers for 7 years. With the declination of that, she also had a stroke Wednesday and never recovered from it. We have been fortunate enough to have lived just down the road from her and Charles, affording us and the kids to enjoy that life, and the privilege and honor to be caregivers of such sweet, funny, and kind folks during the last several years. What joy to treasure!!! ♡ :-) ♡ How wonderful that Josh and Sarah grew up in that relationship with them!! So the funeral arrangements are for the visitation Monday, October 28 from 4-8pm and the funeral service to be held at 11:00 at JH Churchill funeral home in Murray. Burial will be at South Pleasant Grove cemetery in Hazel. In lieu of flowers, if desired, we ask that donations be made to the Alzheimers Association.
