I dont watch The Walking Dead. I dont like zombie fiction and film. Dont kill me. Its just a personal opinion. I cant believe in the storyline, even for a minute, that dead people come back, shamble around and eat flesh or brains. All I can think is...thats stupid. So are vampires and werewolves, but I can suspend disbelief. I cant do that for the zombie trope. I even wrote a couple of zombie stories, but one was long ago for a print anthology and the other doesnt have real zombies, for they arent dead, theyre mad, as in insane. Anyway, I love my writer friends who write about zombies, but Ebola scares me a hell of a lot more. With such real horror in the world, its really hard to get into fictional horror. Were getting a freaking overload of it.
