I entered the United States in 1987 and I obtained a work permit - TopicsExpress

I entered the United States in 1987 and I obtained a work permit through asylum in 1988. My work permit expired in 2000 and when I reapplied for asylum it was denied. From 2000-2009 I struggled trying to find legal help. I spent nine years without legal status and I retained an attorney, but I realized the work was not being done. I then consulted other attorneys, some gave me hope and some said there was no hope, at the end they could not help. My wife was listening to Attorney Potra on the radio, and we decided to go consult with him one Saturday morning. When we came in to speak to him he immediately contacted immigration and he realized I did not have an order of deportation. My wife and I decided to retain him and reopen my Asylum car and he began working on our case. Five months later I received my work permit. Attorney Potra recommended we apply for NACARA sand within months my waif, daughter and I became Legal Permanent Residents. I am very thankful for his services, overall we were able to receive our residency within a year. His service is worth the money. Out of all the attorneys I have met, I have not only believed in Attorney Potras hard work, but I have seen it. He takes his cases seriously. He is honest. I am very grateful his price was reasonable. If God permits, when I am able to apply for Citizenship, I will definitely return to retain Attorney Potras services. I see a difference in Attorney Potra because he acknowledges God in his workplace. I remember when I was in court and i feared my case was too difficult and it might not get approved. He gave me these encouraging words, Dont worry, seek God and feel his presence. Attorney Potras strong determination and faith led to my approval. I strongly believe God led me to Potra Law Firm. ---Mario Rene Velazquez
