I feel like a lot of companies prefer experience over degrees... so why do people get extremely worked up about college. You could have gone to the most prestigious school and have a masters degree and some places Wont hire you because you dont have the experience..I dont get it. So you end up spending 4-8 years and hundreds of thousands of dollars on a piece of paper that cant get you a job because you dont know how to do the job. Its a lose lose no matter what you do. On the other hand Some places want a degree with little to no experience. So I suppose you pick your poison. Do you spend the money on a degree that doesnt guarantee you a job or do you just work and slowly move your way up with experience. Im caught in the middle. Youre almost better off getting your associates degree and applying for your job choice. Half the money you can still gain experience with the job and with the little extra education you have cOuld allOw you to grow within the company or even letlets you move up in a different company with the experience.
