I find some of the posts from various news sources and blogs that criticize the #icebucketchallenge curiously interesting. As a family that deals with ALS, I feel I have a right to say my peace. It IS a serious illness. So serious, it consumes all we talk about and do. So, quite honestly, when I see my husband delighted at all the videos that were done on his behalf, it brings some fun, crazy, stupidity into a world of doctors visits and treatments. Not to mention, the donations for our walk in September, DOUBLED this weekend alone. There are a LOT of useless things in social media.
